The little village of Droushia (Drouseia) has a population of 404. Set on the high ground of the Laona plateau, it is 27kms from Paphos and 10kms from Polis.

From Droushia the views are stunning – you can see all the way across to the Troodos mountains and, looking north you can see Chrysochou Bay and the seaside towns of Latchi and Polis. Looking west, there are stunning views of the Akamas Peninsula with many huge landforms scattered in between. Due to its altitude, Droushia is refreshed by a cool breeze coming from the Akamas. In fact, the name Droushia means ‘cool and fresh’ in Greek.
